Description
The B Braun Small Bore IV Tubing Extension Connector Set with Luer Lock is a complete needleless extension set which features the ULTRASITE needleless connector. This Spin-Lock connector has a rotating collar. When activated this collar helps to create a secure connection and is designed to keep the IV Catheter in place. The patented ULTRASITE Luer Access Device (ULTRASITE LAD) prevents blood drawbacks when injecting, aspirating or infusing fluids and medications. This reduces the risk of accidental needlestick injuries (NSIs) in both patients and healthcare professionals.
The B Braun IV Extension Set with Luer Lock Ultrasite Valve is available in a wide range of extension sets. These extension sets are used with Syringes Without a Needle and are available with the ULTRALITE Valve, a removable ULTRASITE Y-Extension Valve, and a Bonded ULTRASITE Valve with the male Luer Lock Connector. All of these extension sets are different lengths and dimensions making them useful in many clinical settings.
